Workshop on Approximation Methods and Applications

The two-days Workshop on Approximation Methods and Applications-WAMA 2024  will take place at the Department of Mathematics, University of Bari Aldo Moro (Italy),  on December  5-6, 2024.  The workshop is organized with the aim to celebrate the career and work of Prof. Michele Campiti, on the occasion of his 65th birthday.

The workshop topics  focus on the most recent developments in the field of Approximation Theory, from a numerical and functional-analytical point of view, and its various applications, with particular reference to: Korovkin-type approximation theory, diffusion problems, sampling operators, integral operators, positive approximation processes, multivariate approximation methods.
