My research interests lie in geometry and global analysis. I work on geometric applications of index theory for elliptic operators, in particular through (co)homological tools. Many of my papers deal with geometric situations carrying the action of a discrete group, and are motivated by questions in topology such as the Novikov conjecture on the homotopy invariance of higher signatures.
