This issue of
Advanced Nonlinear Studies is dedicated to Professor Vieri
Benci on the occasion of his sixtieth birthday. The issue consists of
articles from some leading experts in the field of nonlinear analysis. I’m
grateful to all the friends and colleagues who have contributed with their
